Short: EPROM programmer up to 512 kB, NOT QUITE WORKING :))

This is BETA version of EPROMmer v3.3. The story of this piece
of work is a little bit complicated. In 1996 I (Tadek Knapik) asked the
author of v3.2 (Carsten Rose) to enhance possibilities of the hardware
and software to program 128, 256 and 512 kB EPROMs. He said it's OK, and
I improved the hardware side, he wrote new version of the program.
After trying out all the stuff I found out that it reads 27010A
(128 kB) without problems, but it is unable to program it. While
programming, there are verify errors, but, surprisingly, after reading
the EPROM it shows up that the bytes are programmed OK. Maybe it was
because Carsten updated the proggy using SGS Thompson's 271001 - 4001
docs, and 27010 is an Intel chip??? I dunno.. I'm simply not an expert,
I'm not experienced even :) RTFM? But where to find FManuals??? :))
Well, me and my friend managed to defend it as our dimplomma
project (we weren't showing up with >64 kB of course :) with some
additions like an EPROM based dongle-example or stupid LEDs flashing
in a way depending on programs written in an EPROM :)
But due to lack of time and money, the project was dropped. I
mean I tried to find some docs on differences between SGS's and Intel's
chips, but I didn't succeed. I had no money to buy more EPROMs, Carsten
had no time to build the hardware (and I haven't seen him in my life at
all, so, he hadn't seen neither me nor the hardware :)
Probably the problem is quite easy to solve.. It just needs a
competent person:)) So, a little bit late, we decided to put it out 'as
is' :))) Maybe you'll manage to get it program >64 kB EPROMs. If so,
just update it, or tell us how to do it :)
Sorry for doing nothing for so much time...
